|
Welcome to the Nanaimo Citizens on Patrol Website The eyes and ears for the RCMP and our Community.
We are a dedicated group of volunteers serving the Regional District of Nanaimo from Lantzville to Cedar. We are the “Eyes and Ears” for the Police and the communities we serve.
Our Mission Statement is “to improve community safety by training volunteers who partner with Police to accurately observe and report suspicious and or criminal activity.”
Nanaimo Citizens on Patrol was formed in 1985 with a commitment to assist the Nanaimo RCMP Detachment members make our communities safe. Throughout the years, the organization has grown with 50 members currently dedicating their time to patrol the streets. In the non-patrol hours, they are dedicated to participating in other group events for the betterment of the communities they serve. |
