Nanaimo Citizens on Patrol Society – A Registered Charity

Nanaimo Citizens on Patrol Society is a registered non-profit society under the Provincial Society Act Section 68. In addition, we are a charity registered with Canada Revenue Agency and can provide a tax receipt upon request for donations.

We gratefully accept monetary donations to be used for the continued benefit of the program which in turns benefits the residents of the City of Nanaimo, District of Lantzville, and the Regional District of Nanaimo.

Our present needs include the refurbishment and replacement of some of our equipment such as fire extinguishers and first-aid and basic medical equipment which we carry with us when we are patrolling. Other needs in the future will be the purchase of radio batteries and hand held computers on which we can check for stolen vehicles.  If this is something you can assist with, please let us know.

A member of our Society would be pleased to attend a meeting of your group or gathering of individuals to outline the benefits of making a contribution to this program. It is important that we be able to promote this program and have the understanding of the citizens of our communities.

Personal contact may be made to Brian Cornborough who is our President for 2011. He can be reached at 250.758.6535 or email at President@nanaimocops.com
